Collection Centers with power will be operating as normal. The ones that have power are: Evergreen, Parker Dairy, Whipples Crossing, Old Landfill Road, Rentz, Nathaniel Drive, Cadwell, Mclendon Road, Dexter, Minter, Montrose, and Valambrosia. Bethlehem, Brewton Lovett, Fountain Road, Morton Drive, and Scotland Road are open and only accepting limb debris. Southern Pines Collection Center and Ben Hall Lake Center are CLOSED due to power lines across the center.
Many collection center sites will be without power over the next several days. Household garbage will not be accepted at collection center sites without power.
Laurens County will accept vegetative storm debris at collection center sites beginning Saturday during normal business hours. There will also be additional vegetative debris collection sites at the following locations and will be designated with signs:
- Off Hwy 257 Dexter, Ga
- Off Lake Ave East Dublin, Ga
- Behind Airport at intersection of Old Landfill Road and Marley Cannon Road.
