Recently, the Tax Assessors Office mailed out the annual assessment notice which gives an estimate of your property taxes for the upcoming year. The notice contained an error in that it used the 6.69 millage rate from two years ago to estimate the property taxes instead of last year's 5.74 milage rate. Please note this is just an estimate and your actual property tax bill will be based on the millage rate set in late August or September of this year.
