[ARCHIVED] ** Tropical Storm Michael**

The Laurens County Emergency Management is continuously monitoring Tropical Storm Michael as it makes its way through the Gulf of Mexico. We strongly urge that all citizens monitor the weather and be prepared. Tropical Storm Michael is expected to strengthen into a Hurricane possibly by this afternoon. The probability of our county seeing significant weather is likely. We will continue to update as we monitor this storm on our social media outlets.
