Hurricane Michael 10-8-2018

The Laurens County Emergency Management is continuously monitoring Hurricane Michael as it makes its way through the Gulf of Mexico. We strongly urge that all citizens monitor the weather and be prepared. Hurricane Michael is expected to strengthen and the probability of our county seeing significant weather is likely. We will continue to update as we monitor this storm on our social media outlets. If you have not signed up for Civic Ready we urge you to do so, this can be accessed from our main page or any Civic Ready icon on the Laurens County Website. After signing up you have the ability to select what type of weather that you get updates on. The weather updates come straight for the National Weather Service when they are sent out. Log in to your account and select Hurricane for updates during this weather event.
