The primary mission of the Laurens County E-911 Communications Center is to provide the vital and necessary communications link between the citizens and emergency service providers in Laurens County. The Center is staffed by a Director, a Training Coordinator, an Operations Supervisor, four communications supervisors, and 18 full time and part time communications officers. The Communications Center is responsible for the dispatch responsibilities for:

  • Laurens County Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
  • Laurens County Sheriff’s Office
  • Laurens County Rural Fire Department
  • Dublin Police Department
  • Dublin Fire Department
  • East Dublin Police Department
  • East Dublin Fire Department
  • Dublin/Laurens County Animal Control

 

The Communications Center is vital to our public safety mission as well as the safety of our officers. The Communications Center operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
