How To Request Your Laurens County, Ga Absentee Ballot

  1. Verify you are a registered voter in Georgia. Visit the Secretary of State's My Voter Page at https://www.mvp.sos.ga.gov/MVP/mvp.do In the MVP Login section enter your first initial, last name, county and date of birth. You will then click on submit. If you receive a message saying "Your registration information was not located", this means you are either not registered to vote or the your information was not entered correctly. If this happens, call the Registrars Office at 478-272-2841. We will then verify the above to make sure there were no errors made on our end when entering your voter information. If you find you are not registered to voter you will then need to visit https://registertovote.sos.ga.gov/GAOLVR/welcometoga.do#no-back-button and follow the directions on how to register to vote. 
  2. Once you have registered to vote you will then be ready to Access the Voter Absentee Ballot Application (PDF). You may fill out this application, print it and sign it.
  3. There are several ways the application can be delivered to our office. 1) It may be brought to our office at 117 E. Jackson St., Ste. A., Dublin, Ga 31021 and handed to and absentee ballot clerk, 2) It may be mailed to Laurens County Board of Registrars, PO Box 2130, Dublin, GA 31040, 3) The application may be scanned and emailed to registrars@dlcga.com, and 5) It may also be faxed to 478-277-2933. Once we receive your application for and absentee ballot, it will be processed and the ballot will be delivered through the USPS. All Absentee Ballots must go through the mail to the voter. A voter can not simply come to our office and pick one up.
